Musical Arrangements

Most of my arranging is directed towards The University of Bristol Barbershop Singers, but I have done other projects up to full concert band with choir.

I arrange mostly on computer, and we've not yet cracked the art of getting high-fidelity recordings of these pieces, so most of these are in the chipmunk voices generated by my PC. (It has some very strange pronunciation, sometimes...) Others have the singers substituted by brass instruments as I found that you could cover the full range with only a few instruments and it was easy to hear what was going on.

Here's a selection of my arrangements:

Avenue Q Medley

For SSAATTBB chorus

Avenue Q Medley by iainhallam

Battle Of Britain Medley

For concert band and audience

Battle Of Britain Medley by iainhallam

Can'tcha Say You Believe In Me (Boston)

Do You Hear The People Sing / One Day More (Les Miserables)

For two SSAATTBB choruses

The Circle Of Life (The Lion King)

For three SATB choruses

There are some minor timing issues with the solo melody in the middle section of this, which is odd, since the rest syncs up and was generated from a single track per part.
